About Eduserv Athens
Most academic institutions in the UK and Ireland use the Eduserv Athens access management system, which controls access to web-based subscription services, including Justis, JustCite and Parlianet.
Athens is a central repository of organisations, usernames and passwords with associated rights. It has extensive account management facilities for organisations to create and manage usernames and passwords, and to allocate rights to individual usernames.
Each organisation which registers with Athens has an Athens Site Administrator, whose responsibility it is to manage these accounts, and ensure that accounts are only issued to individuals who are authorised to access resources under the terms of the organisation’s licences. For more information, please visit the Athens website.
Using Athens
If you have any questions about using Athens to access Justis Publishing services, or if you have forgotten your Athens ID or Password, you will need to discuss this with your library staff or contact the Athens Administrator at your institution.
If you experience any technical difficulties while using any of Justis Publishing’s services, or have any queries about searching or data, please contact Justis Publishing’s Help Desk.
