I. Data capture
Justis Publishing’s data capture facility has been used to successfully capture nearly 5 gigabytes of data, including the complete back archives of The Law Reports from 1865, The Weekly Law Reports from 1953 and Lloyd’s Law Reports from 1919.
The production of the UK Statutes database under licence from Her Majesty’s Stationery Office presented an exciting challenge for Justis Publishing when it undertook the task of capturing and cross-referencing Acts of Parliament that span 765 years. The data capture project involved working from many old Acts, printed in Middle English on poor quality paper.
Justis Publishing delivers extremely high standards of accuracy, typically 99.99% or higher.
II. Mark up and conversion – any data, any format, any language
Justis Publishing has developed a powerful document referencing system and its own XML database tagging system. A key advantage is that structures that are common to documents from different sources are given common structure tags, facilitating cross-product searching through a common interface. Data can be converted from virtually all standard formats.
Justis Publishing has produced European Union information databases in French, German and Danish.
III. Sophisticated yet easy-to-use interface
Justis Publishing offers one of the most advanced yet user-friendly interfaces available. By incorporating functionality that provides efficient, powerful searching, users at all levels can find the information they need quickly and easily.
IV. Unique linking technology
Justis Publishing’s hypertext linking technology automatically converts references within text into hypertext links, entirely eliminating the need for the manual tagging of content and enabling users to navigate seamlessly between related documents. This technology has brought major benefits to users of electronic information and received widespread critical acclaim.
V. Web design
Justis Publishing’s web development team can design and create your website to your own precise specifications. Data collection is managed using our unique webflow system for structured, interactive information gathering.
VI. Data hosting
